He sustained severe head trauma and is now hospitalized in France. The doctors had to induce a coma so they could perform surgery to relieve the pressure from a ruptured hematoma. Currently Saul's condition has stablized, but he remains in the coma as the doctors continue to monitor his condition. Please keep Saul and his family in your thoughts. I was out there for another CTS training camp, but unfortunately the broken arm kept me from riding this time so I spent my days doing logistics and administrative duties. Not exactly what I had in mind, but it was still great to be out there. It is such a wonderful area, especially this time of year. Now I am home for a week and then I head back out to San Diego to spend a little time with the Paralympic cycling team at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, another wonderful place.
